This is something that was supposed to be fixed at some point but was never pushed back. It seems that the villagers die one at a time, which make it much easier for other players to kill them off, and when they die, they will no longer be in your team's inventory.Other problems are related to the city death meter. When the city dies, a message will appear on the screen that will let players know that they will be able to move into the town. However, the first player to reach the city will have their city enter a 'death state' that will prevent other players from moving into the city, preventing griefing and other things from happening.With all of these problems taken care of, now the question is how much further is the Minecrafter's Village and the Pillage Release Date going to push back. The developers will want to make sure that the problems aren't too widespread before they have to push it back again. In terms of the release date, they will only go back a couple of weeks.
